With reference to your telegram of 19th July I have
no confidence in Sanders Rehders. Backhouse might
rejoin Sander Wieler and Company at end of war if new company does not succeed. Similarly Hanners
formerly employed by Siemssen might rejoin them
but there is no reason to think that latter are not
trading on their own account now. Would prefer to
employ as their
see their agents a firm of proved British sentiment
and of high standing.
